Hotel Demodera

« Utterly fabulous. We were hesitant about booking due to the high price point; but it was worth every penny. The staff are wonderful, so caring and hospitable - nothing is too much trouble. The views take your breath away, the food was the best we had in Sri Lanka. We really did not want to leave »

« We stayed at this amazing property for 3 days as a group of four and had a wonderful experience. The mountain views from our room were stunning, and the staff were warm, welcoming, and helpful. The breakfast buffet had limited spread, but everything was delicious. The approach road can be a bit tricky, with a steep, narrow downhill stretch that accommodates only one car at a time. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property! »

« We had a wonderful stay! The view of the Nine Arch Bridge and jungle was so beautiful. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. Breakfast was really good, too! The complimentary tuk-tuk service to and from the main road to the accommodation was especially appreciated given the steep and narrow road. Overall, a fantastic experience and a place we would happily recommend! »

« a lovely boutique hotel with amazing staff & good breakfast »

« Perfect stay in a more quiet area of Ella. You will be in the center shortly. The best thing about our stay was the excellent breakfast served on our private balcony with an amazing view. If we ever come back to Ella again…. This is the place we will stay! »

« The view is supreme. The room is very clean and quite well-appointed for the class of hotel. The location is very near to town just up the way to its hilltop perch. A good walk or short tuk tuk ride . The staff were friendly and helpful and the WiFi was good. I had reason to contact the manager and he responded quickly to sort out my issue. I highly recommend Mountjoy Ella. »

« Beautiful views. »

« La vue est magnifique. La nourriture est très bonne. Le personnel est excellent. La localisation est parfaite. Les chambres sont très bien, j’aurais amélioré par contre la salle de bain. »

« Belle vue sur la montange »

« We had a great stay at 98 Acres Resort & Spa. The place is beautiful with a stunning view. The staff were very attentive, and we loved the varied and delicious breakfast. However, considering the price, we were a little disappointed with the room, which was very simple and rather small. The pool could also benefit from being heated »

« Buona struttura, ottimo host, molto disponibile e cortese. Colazione tipica. Facilmente raggiungibile a piedi (1km) dalla via principale di Ella. »
