We picked Destin to celebrate our 40th anniversary and it didn't disappoint! A couple of days were rainy but there is plenty to do in and around the Destin area. If you love to shop, there's a mall right up the street as well as Bass Pro shop. Outlet Mall is not far away either. Go check out the Back Porch for lunch or dinner. We were lucky enough to see a couple dolphins while there. The seafood is fabulous. The condo is tastefully designed, and kitchen is well stocked. It was relaxing sitting on the deck watching and listening to the waves. If chairs aren't set up on the beach, there are two on the deck for you to use. Bring your own beach towels. Chuck is a pleasure to speak with and quick to respond to any questions. He will also give you suggestions on places to eat and shop. From the time we checked in to the day we left we felt welcomed by the employees at check-in desk, bar and restaurant employees to John at the beach. Parking in the garage area is included in the rental. You won't be disappointed. This is the best vacation we have had and didn't want to leave. Thanks, Chuck, for providing such a wonderful place for us to spend our 40th. We will return to Destin in the future.
