We had a nice stay. The rental was clean and equipped like an extended stay hotel. The kitchen had a good assortment of dishes,pots,pans, etc. The laundry was a godsend for beach towels and swim wear. The things that were less ideal. There was nothing ‘extra’ you sometimes get used to besides a spice rack, some coffee packets, tea bags and sugar packs. The carpet seemed in need of replacement or deep cleaning but did not give an odor. The porch ‘twin’ bed is very short but otherwise comfortable. Avast management was very handy and responsive. They needed to be because there was no written procedure or instruction to reference. What was most unexpected was that when it says no beach chairs or umbrellas are provided at the private beach what it really means is that they are but you and others in La Mar 2 are not entitled to use them. It created a dynamic I wasn’t prepared for honestly. My issue was that this was not well explained ahead. We had to figure it out as we went.
