Nice place but several issues

I want to note a few things that I hope will be helpful for future guests. The location is excellent, you are very close to the pool and the shuttle pickup for the beach (which is also very very nice). Overall, the house was as described in terms of the layout and amenities. The third floor loft was excellent for the kids to have their own space. The kitchen was stocked with pretty much everything you need (except coffee filters!) so I was pleased with all of those things. Here are a few things that did not make me happy, especially considering what you have to pay to go to the beach these days. We called about the dryer not working on or 2nd day there. 9 days later, and I still have not heard from anyone, nor did anyone ever show up. We got the dryer fixed the next day thanks to having a friend that was handy. Our 3rd day, the washing machine stopped working. I called that day (twice), I called the next day, and the following day - 4 phone calls over 3 days. No one ever showed up, no one ever called to follow up. No communication. The presented an issue for our house as we had 3 families staying for a softball tournament and uniforms had to be washed. We ended up having to take everything 2 miles down the road to a friends place. I certainly understand that maintenance can get busy and backed up, but to just never show up and never call was unacceptable. A few other odd and end things at the house: -2nd floor water pressure is extremely poor -1st floor water pressure will knock down, and the shower curtains are cloth so the floor gets soaked. We finally just covered the floor in towels for the reset of the week after the 2nd day to keep from falling when getting out the shower. -The freezer door doesn't close all the way unless you force it. -Parking -I read the reviews about the parking craziness and I too though - "ah well, folks are probably exaggerating a little". The are NOT exaggerating. At all. We rented a 5 bedroom house for 4 families and you can only park 3 cars in the driveway, even if you spend 40 minutes moving every car to perfectly fit to ensure that no tires are in the road. -If you have someone get in late, say around 1:00 AM and park on the side to unload after driving 5 hours, the security team will Seek you out and find you, and even come into your house uninvited. Completely unprofessional. Overall, the house was OK but there are some things that need to are improved.

The property is not well kept. I was disappointed with the upkeep of the house.

We enjoyed our vacation but was disappointed with the house. The space and location were great.
