Amazing family vacation!!!

I hosted 10 adults, 2 little ones and 2 dogs. Everyone had an amazing time! The house had 7 bedrooms so it had plenty of space for all. My favorite feature was the family style tables inside and outside so we could all gather and eat together! The beds were very comfortable! The outside pool, fire pit and chairs was a fan favorite! Great property

We had a great stay at this property. The pool and hot tub worked wonderfully. We were a group of 9 and there were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The top level was a nice playroom for the 3 kiddos. It was a short walk to the beach maybe 10 mins. Restaurants and stores just a short drive away. Very safe neighborhood. We would return. The only things that would have been nice for this property to add would be a wagon to haul items to beach and a cooler.

Perfect Family Beach House and Pool

The kids loved the pool. The house was perfect for our family and pups. The response when we couldn’t figure out the fire pit was so fast. Thanks for a great vacation spot so close to the beach.

Clean house

Overall we enjoyed our stay, the house was clean and was big enough for a group of 13. It was an easy check in & check out process. We had a problem with the pool which never fully got resolved and the outside trash bins were full when we arrived and never got emptied.

Great house

Great home and location! We had a few issues with the pool and the yard and took a couple of days to resolve the issues but they were resolved and we were taken care of. We appreciate how quickly they resolved the issue with the pool and lawn and we had a great time! The home was a perfect fit for our large family. Can't wait to be back!

Amazing home

House is terrific for families. Plenty of rooms and bathrooms. Beds, sheets and pillows were excellent! Kitchen had everything you need. Plenty of table seating. Great backyard. We’ll be back!!

Fathers Day Trip

13 of us from age 3-91 came for a baseball tournament and to celebrate Father’s Day. Couldn’t be more happy with the house and accommodations. The communication from this group is top notch and I would be ecstatic to book with them again.

Fabulous weekend celebration

We came into this fabulous home for a surprise engagement for my daughter. Everything was as listed online and then some! There wasn’t anything that we needed. That wasn’t already there. Highly recommend for big families. You don’t feel like you’re sitting on top of each other as you may in other spaces. Plenty of room to hang out with family and alone. Thank you!

Perfect Destin House

Perfect house for a large group! Communication with management was 5*. The house was clean and had every amenity you could possible want! We loved the house and recommend it for families with small children! The fences in backyard is a rare find …. Pool, spa and Grass for our pups! Loved it

New Year's Getaway

The best place I have rented hands down. The customer Service was top notch! My kids never wanted to leave the house. Close to the beach, great neighborhood, lots of room, great amenities. older kids loved how close it was to the Commons. We will be back.

Hands Down The Best

This was absolutely the BEST VRBO that I or any of the 11 other ladies I stayed with have ever been to. We were welcomed with flowers, cupcakes, music playing & a lovely card. It really set the tone for our entire girls' weekend. The pictures in this listing truly do not do the property justice. It's incredibly spacious, well kept, and comfortable and the decor is something to obsess over. The only thing we wished we had was a full-length mirror. With 12 grown women, we were worried we would be on top of each other, fighting over bathrooms or spaces to put our luggage and that was ABSOLUTELY not the case. Almost every one of us had our own bed, or if we shared, we shared a King size and it was just as comfortable. The bedding was clean and comfortable. I even wanted to look at the mattress to see what it was to buy for at home. The house had lovely amenities which were far from expected such as small bottles of olive oil and balsamic, salt & pepper, small bottles of shampoo, conditioner & lotion, and even hair dryers for each bathroom. There was an entire entertainment stand full of different board games, pool noodles, a few floats & a couple of beach chairs. Plenty of pool towels along with bath towels. I also noticed a couple of fans in a few of the closets if needed. The location is less than a half-mile walk from public beach access, a quick 10-minute Uber to the Harbor area. It was quiet while surrounded by plenty of other rentals. A quick golf cart ride (if you choose to rent one) takes you to some nearby shopping if you're in need of a quick coffee or some groceries. Dawn, the local operations manager for Over Moon, was great to communicate with, checked in on us multiple times & answered any questions we had. Thank you for everything, Dawn! When you stay here, you truly are taken care of. We were told to just leave the bedding on the beds, towels on the floor, and dirty dishes in the sink which made the depressing morning of packing slightly less stressful. If you're on the fence as to whether or not you should book this property, I'm telling you to book it. You won't regret it. I'm already looking for a reason to talk my family and friends into going back and booking this same listing again.

Nice getaway

It was a beautiful vacation home located blocks away from the beach. Communication from the host was excellent. My family enjoyed our stay and it comfortably accommodated our party of 13. We had a mixed age of individuals in our party and it was suitable for my young daughter who is 7 months. There were a few changes that could have made the trip better - an air pump for pool inflatables, a mop in the kitchen, the microwave malfunctioned - as if kept operating when the door was opened. I would also advise to have the patio furniture stored to keep it clean. We had minor issues with pests in the kitchen and the bedroom nearest the back door. It was also a little weird to have someone “watch” us as we said our farewell’s to each other . I guess it was to ensure we vacated the premises on time. Overall, we would book again.

Amazing property

This property was exactly what it claimed to be and was perfect for our family of 15. The management team went over & above and communication was great. I text them Saturday night about an issue and they responded immediately and came on Sunday to fix it. I dealt with Annie before we arrived and then Dawn was our local contact and she went out of her way for us. Truly well done Overmoon, your business model is on point!! The welcome basket was a wonderful touch as well!! We would definitely book with you again!

The PERFECT house for our family vacation!

Our family had the best time staying in this beach house! The house is so spacious with plenty of space for a large group. The backyard area and pool was very nice too. We swam and grilled one afternoon after returning from the beach. The house was clean and there were plenty of basics available for use (garbage bags, laundry detergent, bathrooms stocked with shampoos & conditioners, etc.). I contacted the host the day before arrival to see if we could check in earlier and we were able to do so at 12:00 which was a huge plus and gave us an extra half a day to enjoy our vacation! The weekend before our arrival, I received a phone call from the property manager checking in to see if we needed anything for the babies staying with us. I have a 3 year old and 1 year old so she called to let me know that there was a highchair, 2 pack-n-plays, and she went to the house and installed covers over the electrical sockets, a baby proof doorknob cover to the pool, and also let me know that there is an alarm that alerts you anytime the back door to the pool is opened. This gave me so much relief not having to constantly stress about if the kids would get into the backyard without me. The walk to the beach was only 2 blocks, however the closest public beach access had several stairs downward and this would have been too difficult for us with small kids and beach carts, so we went 1 block further to the next public beach which didn't have all of the stairs. My only complaint about the public beach was the space. The condos on either side of the small public beach space do not allow you to put your chairs behind the rentals, so we had to wake up super early every morning around 6 to go put out our chairs and umbrellas to secure a spot closest to the water. This is not Overmoon's fault, but just sharing as this was our first time ever not staying in a condo directly on the beach and having to worry about having beach space was a little inconvenient with kids. Aside from the beach access, I would give Overmoon 5 stars as we loved everything about the house and all of the extras they provided. We would definitely book a stay with Overmoon again in the future! Thank you for having us!

Awesome stay at comfortable and well stocked home with all the extras and excellent service!!!

Our group had a wonderful experience staying in this Overmoon home!!! The home was super clean and had an amazing number of thoughtful amenities like a highchair, crib, stepstools for kids in every bathroom and beach and pool toys. The home was also stocked with all the basics like paper towels and laundry detergent with lots of extras! We loved hanging out in the comfortable family room, the beds were amazing and the pool was the perfect temperature! From start to finish the service that Overmoon provided was excellent, answering every one of our questions before we arrived and during our trip as well! Overmoon even provided us the opportunity to rent additional items like work-out equipment, extra beach gear and set-up an in-home massage for us - so convenient and helpful! We will definitely be staying here again and can't recommend highly enough to anyone thinking about staying at this home! Truly a gem!
