« We were surprised at how much bigger the lodge is when you’re inside . Very comfortable and everything we needed to enjoy our stay . We found that it was easy to get to all the places we visited. We would definitely return. »

« The property was the best we’ve ever stayed at. It was very handy for the town but in a very quiet spot. The owner was very friendly and informative. We had a very relaxing break and would highly recommend. »

« Lovely place to stay, very well equipped and even though it's small did not feel cramped. Big plus to me was the very hot powerful shower! Excellent outlook onto a park and the river. Main Street of the town 2 minutes walk away with excellent food / butchers / bakers. »

« The property is extremely clean and very comfortable. The double bed in particular. The road is very quiet and leads to the promenade passing the local Coop. Its easy to park at the top of the road free of charge. The lounge area is full of light and has a large comfortable corner sofa. I would definitely sray again and would recommend. I didnt like the lack of basic store cupboard items such as oil, salt, pepper or milk. There was tea, coffee and sugar. »

« Very pleased with the accommodation and the locality. Very well equipped.However the mirror light in ensuite shower room upstairs is iut so that room is very dark as inly one ceiling spot light. Also on 1st entering house to go into livingroom the door handle fell off no screw fell onto floor it just came away in hand or i would have tried to fix it .We had avery enjoyable stay would certainly come back anithervtime for more walking beautiful area.Kind regardsClare »

« A une bonne heure d'Edimbourg en pleine campagne mais pas loin de la mer cette petite maison cosy est bien équipée et confortable. Excellent accueil et charmantes attentions. Voiture indispensable. Quelques jolis lieux à découvrir pas très loin comme le château de Bamburgh. »

« We were in town for the Race Across Scotland - crew stayed here throughout the week, and two of us who ran it were here after we finished. Was a close drive to Cocksburnpath, and to other surrounding areas. Great spot for 4 folks, and having laundry was a huge bonus. Lovely property. »

"Un très bon séjour. Le personnel est accueillant, l'emplacement est parfait et très calme. Le lit superposé pour les enfants est parfait. Le petit déjeuner très correct. L'hôtel est vétuste et l'équipement de la salle de bain réduit au minimum mais c'est un très bon deux étoiles."
