„Charming old building with cosy rooms. Excellent restaurant downstairs. Nice views of the river and sailboats. Right at the promenade. Access to the rooms through the staff area of the kitchen. Private bathroom was not en-suite.“

„Our stay at this hotel was very comfortable. All staff were friendly and helpful at all times. Our room was a standard room at the top of the house and it was very clean with a nice ensuite and a comfortable bed. The decor and furniture enhanced the room giving plenty of space to put our clothes and personal effects. Food was very good, we had a three course dinner and the food was delicious. Breakfast was also very good with a good and varied choice on the menu. Toast was available on ...

„We were in an annex, not in the main hotel. The room was clean, but the space was very small with the 'bedroom' on a mezzanine floor. The roof sloped so much it was difficult not to crack your head on the ceiling. The bed was a small double. The towels were old and must have been washed using conditioner as they did not dry you after a shower. There was a beer festival on the weekend we stayed and the volume of the music outside was exceptionally loud and even inside the annex with the door and ...

„No checking in service at all. No prior instructions were given. We were helped into our apartment by the lady who owns the jewellers downstairs. We were woken at 6.45am on a Sunday to the sound of scaffolders and a traffic management company setting up to commence install scaffolding at 7am on the building we are in with no prior communication from the host this would be happening otherwise I wouldn't have booked there. By 8am there was a workman outside my first floor bedroom window so I had ...

„Reception was neat and the receptionist was friendly and Hotel seems to be neat from out side. Bed was not made properly the sheets were bulging and the bed was too soft. Seems to be old bed and need to be renewed. The bathroom is well designed but had rusty corners and the shower was not clean. The restaurant service is of low quality and loud as it can get.“

„Purpose built Leveret Lodge offers absolute peace and quiet being situated over a detached garage - no noisy neighbours! The location suited us perfectly for exploring both Essex and Suffolk and our hostess was most welcoming. We enjoyed a splendid stay.“

„Lovely house and lovely stay. Marked down the checkin process as unfortunately the owner forgot to leave the keys where agreed. Had to call them and to arrange spare set. But appart from that lovely cottage in a great area “

„Very welcoming on arrival Ideal for our stay but there was a drainage/damp smell in the bathroom “

„Spacious, loads of bathrooms, very high standard Fantastic location“

„Beautiful character cottage in an idyllic setting, we would happily stay here again. “

„Loved the setting totally secluded“

„Das Zimmer war an sich sehr gut. Sauber und groß, auch das Badezimmer, und das WLAN war schnell. Aber man muss taub sein, um da schlafen zu können. Es war sehr laut. Die Wände waren wohl dünner als die Papierwände in einem japanischen Haus. Ich konnte meine Nachbarn besser hören als mich selbst, obwohl sie sich eigentlich nur normal unterhielten. Ich werde nie wieder da übernachten.“
