« What a darling place! We love it! The color & decorations are so calming. The AC & frig worked wonderfully. The view is AMAZING! Sunrise to sunset was stunning. The neighborhood is very quiet & we had the beach to ourselves! If I had to do it over again, I would’ve ordered the golf cart for my 86 year old mom, but we will next time. The only thing I would’ve liked better was a little bit softer bed. They are all VERY firm but some people may prefer that. I ended up on the sofa which was fine ....

In total we had 10 adults, and 7 kids ranging from 1-16.(total of 5 families) We had more than enough space and never felt over crowded, but always felt close enough to be able to be together! « We had a great time at this beach house for our recent visit. The large porch is great for enjoying the sounds of the beach in the morning; and the location is very close to a pedestrian bridge to the beach. Manager was easy to communicate with, and we hope to come back again soon! »

« The property was a tad outdated. We arrived after 9 p.m. The email with the code for entry was never received and we had to wait a bit for the owner to reply due to the late arrival time. Only 1 bathroom and it is very small which was fine for us but could pose an issue for larger groups. Our sheets and pillow cases smelled like mildew, like the cleaning people left them in the washer for a day before drying. I checked the laundry on the porch and those sheets smelled bad too. « We took our daughter and her friends to the beach for the weekend. House was more than adequate and well stocked. Great balconies to enjoy the beach front location. Only thing we were not keen on was the water smelled quite badly of sulphur. I believe this is a known problem in Surfside. Would definitely stay again! »

« We have no complaints, it was a beautiful, new, very clean, comfortable home. Room for my family of 8 including grown children and grandkids. Plenty of room for us all. Nice deck and downstairs to relax and spend family time. The house is not on the beach side of the highway so we had to walk quite a distance across the highway with our grankids to the beach access. « We wanted a cozy place to stay close enough to a beach to see the ocean that was not too full of people. The fishing was not great but that was just bad timing with the weather and season. Host was accommodating to early check in and night fishing. When we come back to Texas we will certainly look for this place again. We are in a grungy campground outside of Dallas on our way home and already wishing we had spent an extra day at fisherman’s isle! »

« This beach house was far and away better than the one we stayed at last year. It was very clean, nicely decorated with the beach a minute walk down the street. We'll be repeating at this place if it's available for rental the next time we come down. »
