« Alex and Avi were wonderful hosts, from allowing early check-in to offering trips into the Bay on their boat. I had plenty of space to read and relax in the guesthouse, with Savusavu’s main street an easy 20 minute taxi ride away (they have a driver they use who they can call on your behalf). I had free use of sea kayaks, and I paid Alex to take me on a snorkeling trip near a sand bar. I recommend booking here! »

« This place is oversized and gorgeous. Well appointed. The master bedroom has a king sized bed with 2 lounge chairs that look out to the ocean. En suite bathroom has a huge tub, double vanity, separate rooms with doors for shower and for toilet and a locked door that lead to the outside shower. Individual rooms have a/c units for individual control. Odd things-no hand soap at any sink for washing hands, no paper towels or napkins. Perhaps those are not things to normally expect in Fiji? « It’s a great home with plenty of space. It’s not 5 star but very private. The owner sorted out an issue quickly and the staff on the ground were great. Don’t expect Wi-Fi or full reception, it all depends on the direction of the wind but you mostly get 4g upstairs and outside. If the Maid offers cooking, it’s not the cheapest but she made enough for dinner and lunch the next day, food was great.
