« This house is amazing!! We were a group of 14 and had more than enough space. The view from the house is absolutely beautiful, we saw toucans, parrots and hummingbirds from the balcony. Patrick, the host, took care of literally everything for us. Transportation, excursions, recommendations, reservations….all taken care of. They made a delicious breakfast every morning and we had them make dinner for us two of the nights and it was fantastic. Highly recommend!! »

« We had a group of 10 people traveling to La Fortuna in late April. This property is the absolute best of both worlds. The house has one master suite with a spacious bath on the top floor with views of the Arenal volcano on a clear day. The second floor has three bedrooms with a shared bath. The main floor is spacious and opens up to an outside porch which is perfect for sitting and enjoying the monkeys, toucans and butterflies. « Spacious, beautiful, well located as it is walking distance to many activities in La Fortuna as well as good restaurants. Our host was nice, welcoming. Very positive overall, we had a great time. »

« We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Castillo. The terrace had an amazing view of Arenal volcano, and we saw so many birds in the backyard. It was amazing to have coffee in morning and watch clouds roll through valley and listen to birdsong. The location is convenient for getting to Fortuna and nearby parks for hiking, but Castillo feels much more quaint and quiet for enjoying peaceful evenings.
