« Staying at a local's place was the right choice rather than a "resort" / hotel. We wanted a place on the water with a balcony where we could cook. There were a few things that we liked / was disappointed in with Featherstone: What we liked: The views were great. We were glad we choose the "top" of the house as downstairs you could hear a lot of noise. We enjoyed the hammocks both on the beach and our private deck. « Condo was rundown and not very clean - it reeked (possibly due to unresolved water leaks?), only one shower had warm water, the freezer couldn’t be opened, the fridge sounded like it was about to blow, etc. Dishes had to be washed Before use, kitchen floor had sticky patches (?). Not great for families who like to cook/eat at home. Grounds were well kept, location was quiet and peaceful and the snorkeling off the beach was awesome! »
