« We loved everything. We played pickleball, kayaked on the river, enjoyed all of our meals outside under the big oak trees and marveled at the stars by the firepit at night. I only have a few suggestions: the outside table and bar were dirty. The bar table had a huge pile of rocks on it and was covered in leaves and dust and there were no fire pit tools. But these were just minor things and did not cause us to lose any relaxing time. I think a small table top jenga game would be a nice touch...

« This place was extremely hard to find in the pitch blackness that is a typical Texas evening, I did 3 u-turns on 55 because I was afraid to use someone’s driveway. That was really our only issue, The house itself was immaculate, we couldn’t have been more pleased with the amenities. Outdoor seating areas on front porch and off the master bedroom were just lovely for drinking coffee in the morning and cocktails in the afternoon. The kitchen is stocked with just about everything you would need...

« This place is awesome. We spent a ton of time at the river kayaking and fishing/floating and saw very few people. The seclusion is great, the river access is super nice, and the house is very functional. A couple minor items worth mentioning for certain prospective guests: 1) river access is not walking distance, requires the side-by-side or a truck but is very close by; 2) the house is on the main highway and there is some minor road noise occassionally...did not impact our enjoyment. « Comfortable and quiet is what we were looking for and the home met our expectations. Five of us stayed for a week and we had a great time. The house is well stocked which made cooking from home easy. Susan and Philip were great hosts and quick to respond to questions. We’ll be back if they’ll have us! »
