« Desi’s Hideaway was the highlight of our vacation. We had several incidents throughout the weekend, the only light at the end of the tunnel was returning to our home away from home. Then to top it off, our hosts took time out of their day to aid our family members, that were not even guests of theirs. « This place was extremely hard to find in the pitch blackness that is a typical Texas evening, I did 3 u-turns on 55 because I was afraid to use someone’s driveway. That was really our only issue, The house itself was immaculate, we couldn’t have been more pleased with the amenities. Outdoor seating areas on front porch and off the master bedroom were just lovely for drinking coffee in the morning and cocktails in the afternoon. « Ima simple man, I see Nueces Riverfront and I”m in. This place is truly special from the views to the house then to the absolutely stunning section of river. This river access has it all , shallow areas , 5 feet deep areas , excellent fishing throughout the whole river. The kayaks were a plus and were an awesome experience for the kids . The market in camp wood was nice on a Saturday. Hosts were awesome , we loved it and we will be coming back here. »

« I greatly enjoyed working with Tasso, the property’s host. They were very easy to communicate with and worked with me to accommodate some unique needs. The property was so serene and beautiful. The home was exceptionally well appointed and spacious. I had fun introducing my kids to their record player and their enjoyably eclectic album collection made for the perfect soundtrack to our stay. « We loved staying in this VRBO! The house is true to the pictures, very clean, and is pretty large with lots of space for a large family to chill out. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and pots and pans and a good selection of spices. There is access to the river and it was a very quiet neighborhood. We had absolutely everything we needed and loved our stay. »
