« My husband, daughter, and I absolutely LOVED the Secluded Casita. It was located in the perfect area, away from town and not too close to neighbors. The river is a very short walk from the house and there is a great deck with stairs to get into the river. The Nueces River was so beautiful and crystal clear. « We loved the cabin. Plenty of shade and trees to hang a swing and hammock from. Had so many activity items like corn hole, big jenga blocks, uno cards, and dominoes (to name a few). The littles and adults loved the games. There were plenty of seating options inside and out. The beds were very comfortable, like sleeping on a cloud. It was absolutely peaceful and relaxing. « Spent our 1st anniversary at River Rock and had an incredible time. We were the only ones there so it was quiet which we enjoyed. Loved that could walk to the River with our tubes and chill. Cabin was so cute and had everything we needed. »

« This spot is great if you are visiting the Hill Country for a float on the Frio or a hike in Garner State park. You bring your own linens and towels but everything else we needed was there. The hosts are super helpful and communicative. Would stay at one of their properties again in a heartbeat! »

« August 2025 family vacation was great the whiskey mountain Valley Cabins were amazing from check in to check out. Check-in was a breeze. The owners made it very easy and very straightforward with how to check in, they even let us know if that the cabin was ready way before our check in. The kitchen was great.
