„Definitely had pet friendly elements which were not used or needed by us since we didn't bring a pet along for our trip. The house was impressive and had a welcoming vibe. Cabin style/rustic quality which truly reiterated the overall theme that we enjoyed of feeling "off the grid" and able to be in-sync with the surrounding nature. „We stayed for a girls get away weekend and had such a wonderful time. We loved how much charm and character the place had and felt very well loved. „We very much enjoyed our time staying here. The host has made sure the place is clean and paid attention to all the little details that helps a person feel comfortable. It was the cleanest location, hotel or Vrbo, I’ve stayed at. It is just outside Petoskey down a private road that takes you away from all the businesses but you can get to so many fun and beautiful places within 15 minutes. I will stay here again if visiting the Petoskey area. “

„Wonderful experience! The house was very tidy and clean. There was everything we needed in the kitchen and coffee bar - lovely dishes! Lots of hooks in the bathrooms and bedrooms for towels and ski clothes. The fireplace was warm and cozy - also helpful in keeping the ski clothes dry. This beats a hotel any day! We will be back!“

„We loved our stay at Acorn Cottage! The cottage was easy to get to, and it was in a nice, quiet neighborhood. It was clean with just enough space for our family of four (our 4-legged family member included). There's a beautiful view over looking the lake from the back deck area. „The cabin was perfect for 2 adults and 2 small dogs. We loved the privacy and the extreme quiet from the hussle and bussel of dayly life. If you like rustic this is a perfect place. River is so clean and sandy bottom. Outdoor kitchen was my favorite. “
