„Wir haben statt ein Zimmer ein Bungalow erhalten. Das war gross und angenehm. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und das Personal ist bemüht. Reception und Restaurant leider etwas schmuddelig und etwas heruntergekommen. Die Kaffeemaschine, welche neben der Reception steht, wurde seit dem ersten Gebrauch nie gereinigt. Olancha liegt sehr abgelegen aber praktisch für Durchgangsreise nach Death Valley. “

„Die Unterkunft ist sehr gut eingerichtet. In der Küche fehlt es an nichts. Auch die Matratzen sind gut. Im Außenbereich wäre ein etwas größerer Tisch praktisch. Die Lage mit Blick auf den Berg ist wirklich sehr schön.“

„The cabins were in very good shape, they had all the items we needed. Also, housekeeping was quick to change towels. The property has absolutely beautiful scenery; our family fished and really enjoy the pontoon rental/lake experience. I would recommend Convict Lake to anyone.“

Some dish-ware not clean, bottle caps left from previous visit.Shower pan feels like it is not supported, soft, lots of cracking noises. Lots of dirt, dust on shower fan, baseboard, walls in bathroom. Outdoor deck, sliders, windows & furniture dirty.“

„Nice comfortable beds. Well stocked with TP and shower necessities and paper towels, towels and whatnot. There was even a nice little snack gift basket when we got there. The host was very responsive and he allowed us to check out an hour late upon request, which was very nice. I like that we could use the garage. And especially liked that the bedroom got very dark. The curtains blocked out light really well. Too many condos we rent have too bright of bedrooms. “

„The property was cozy and close to everything and had plenty of parking. The rooms and beds were comfortable and the place was clean. It definitely has an older cabin feel but we didnt mind it. It could use some newer linens and sheets and pillows.“

„The Good! Bed was very comfortable. Nice coffee setup. Stovetop, full size fridge are nice amenities . Not So Good. Unit and facilities signage were less than optimal. Carpeting was beyond life span. Outdoor lighting was below safety standards at night. Shower area needs a good cleaning on ceiling. Toaster did not work. Toilet would run continuously if you did not jiggle the handle. Lightning in the unit was also less than sufficient. All that being said, I would stay again in a pinch . “
