« We had a great stay in Lakewood! The house had plenty of space for everyone and was very well-maintained. The view of the lake was beautiful from the huge back porch! We loved swimming on the beach, just a walk/drive from the house down a gravel road. There was plenty of space to play yard games outside or go for a walk in the woods. »

« Laurel and Jo are by far the best hosts we have ever encountered in a rental home. The cottage was as clean as one can possibly be. There were many wonderful suggestions about activities. Every possible need we could think of had been anticipated. The TV instructions were the most thorough we have ever seen, and when the system did not work properly, Jo even came over one evening to fix the problem. We will stay there again in a heartbeat. We just wish more VRBO hosts were as responsive...

« We had difficulty right from the beginning when booking the location as the host we extremely difficult to communicate with so I should have known. When we got there, the code to get in worked but the handle to the door was locked so we were unable to get in. Luckily after searching around the property, we found a door unlocked. We tried contacting the person (property manager) that the host recommended reaching out but they wouldn’t respond for days. The cabin was very dusty/dirty with dead...
