« If you’re looking for an off the beaten path getaway, this place is for you. It’s quite remote, but well worth the drive. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly, and they’ll show you everything you need to know when you check in. The place is clean and has good WiFi. The hot tub is exactly what you need after a long day hiking at Big Bend and the stars at night are beautiful. If you’re looking for a place to stay whilst going to Big Bend, this is the place for you. »

« Very different and unique - gives you a feel of the outdoors with comfort and convenience of modern living. We used this place as a basecamp for our daily adventures and would recommend for individuals. Also has a pet roadrunner whom just hung around us a lot…. »

« Was in the area for extended weekend and stayed at XB. Place is in perfect place to enjoy desert and has beautiful scenery. We really enjoyed our time on the porch. Town with restaurants and stores is near about 20 min away. Phones (Verizon) worked well at property. Room and bath were clean and everything worked as should. Thank you for memorable stay wife and kids are already planning next vacation there. »

« It’s a dark sky National Park, so there’s very little lights and we could not find the RV park but the owners directed us and sat out by the road with their vehicle lights on so we could find them! They went above and beyond!! Highly recommend. »

« Kimberly was such a kind and helpful host — she made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The houseboat was peaceful and cozy, and the views were absolutely stunning. At night, the stars lit up the sky like nothing I’ve ever seen. Truly a one-of-a-kind experience in Alpine. We can’t wait to come back! »

« For summer travel, many of restaurants close for the summer or have limited hours, so plan ahead. The road to the property at Ten Bits Ranch is best suited to high clearance vehicles. It is drivable in a sedan, but very slowly. »

« Pas de débarbouillette et de linge à vaisselle. Pas de literie pour le lit d’appoint. L’emplacement est parfait. Très jolie et calme. »

« We really enjoyed our stay at the dome. The dome is small but still spacious. There are 2 plug outlets that can hold only cell phone/tablet/watch. No cell phone service (tmobile). The host did a really good job at giving instructions on how to get to the property as we lost cell service. The entrance to Big Bend is 20 minutes. The seclusion of the property was great! I would stay again if we decide to visit another time. »

« A place like this the view and location are what makes or break one. The location is right in the ghost town! Food and entertainment are right there! The view is unbelievable! I have never seen better. The room was great. Everything we needed! Outdoor kitchen was well stocked and had plenty of places to sit to taking in all of the beauty. The patio was comfortable and also had great sitting options. »

« Check-in was super easy! The house and casita were exactly what we were looking for!! We especially loved the closed in porch for our morning coffee. The location was perfect for our daily trips to explore Big Bend and Ft. Davis. »

« The cabin was a lot better than I expected. Kitchen and bathroom were well stocked and the whole place was very clean. If you're going to the Big Bend National and State parks I highly recommend staying here. »

« I simply cannot wait to come back. The cabins were well cared for, and the scenery is amazing. I am into astrophotography, and I was able to capture stunning shots from right outside the porch. I would recommend this place to anyone. »

"Lieu pas tres agreable petit dejeuner minimaliste, jus d'orange et café coupés à l'eau aucun goût. Propreté nule produits de toilettes nuls. "

"Tout était parfait sauf la salle de bain, la baignoire mériterait d’être changée ! Le lieu et la vue étaient magnifiques, le restaurant était parfait, le personnel du lodge et du restaurant étaient très sympathiques !! La piscine un peu froide hihi !! C’est un endroit très bien, le calme était appréciable !! Vraiment Terlingua lodge Ranch je recommande vivement !!"

"L’hôtel n’est pas très attrayant à l’extérieur, mais sympa à l’intérieur. Notre chambre 102 était vraiment bien jusqu’au petit matin où c’est devenu infernal, car elle était contre la salle des petits déjeuners où le bruit des machines était important. C’est vraiment dommage car l’hôtel était peu occupé et c’était bien la dernière chambre à attribuer !!!"
