„It is a very dog friendly property. The staff always engages with my dog. The landscaping, well lit parking, and fire pit area are very nice. I always stop here when we travel east.“

„Perfect stay“

„Breakfast was good and the location was very good for my visit, the only issue I have with most Choice Hotels is that the commodes are very low, so when you have arthritic Ken’s’s it can be difficult to use them.“

„Rooms were very quiet. Staff was friendly.“

„We booked the motel for one night on our way towards the west. The guy at the front desk was very nice at the check in and first we got a room on the first floor with a connecting door. But the other guest in the other room was already so loud (TV), that I asked for a quiet room without a connecting door - that was made possible immediately. The room was very well equipped, even with an iron and an ironing board and the breakfast was also very good with coffee, toast, cereal, etc. The only ...

„It was clean, the host was prompt with replies to any questions I had“

„Beautifully decorated, especially if you love elephants. There are six bedrooms and they are all very comfortable. Bathrooms were very clean and shower was great upstairs. Lots of amenities ! The place could have used a deep clean. There was a lot of dust on the blinds and some of the coffee cups in the kitchen needed a wash. Some surfaces of items were also dusty. We wished there would have been a common bathroom on the first floor instead of just the ensuite one. We missed having a Keurig. ...

„property was nice. No toilet paper and did not get my refund back. I was accused of breaking drawers under the bed which we were unaware that they were even their,. Working a dispute with Vrbo“

„Everything was what I expected and the communication was timely. Would stay there again if going to Oglebay Resort.“

„The Property was very clean and well stocked with essentials.“

„It’s nice place, nice house. Only one thing we found bathroom doors locks bad. All bathrooms doors were not working. Rest of the things are fantastic. It’s nice view outside close to everything.“

„We grew up in Wheeling and needed a place to stay for a family reunion. This house worked well for 5 of us. It is a quaint victorian style house in a quiet little neighborhood. The wood work is beautiful and the house is cozy, we loved the front porch! The host answers messages promptly. We do have to say that the house could use a deep clean. The baseboards need dusted and some vacuuming needs done. The stove was not clean, but luckily we didn't need to use it. Also the listing says 2 ...

„This property was terrible. We arrived to find the house filthy and all the beds unmade. Trash everywhere, food left out on counters, blood in one of the beds. We could not stay here and booked another hotel at 11:00 PM in Pittsburgh. I have never seen such a filthy vacation rental. “

„Very cute and clean place to stay! Had everything we might need from dishes and appliances to toiletries and towels. We would recommend and stay at again!“
