« James was a great host. The property is beautiful. We had so much fun swimming and paddle boarding. I have back issues, and the mattress was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. Better than my own at home. I highly recommend this lake oasis. It is private, safe and relaxing. We had so much fun! »

« My husband and I arrived at the Lake Bowen cottage on a very hot summer day. We had an easy entry and welcomed the air conditioning and easy walk to the water. Everything was clean and comfortable. This is an upstairs apartment and we are in our seventies, but our own home has stairs and these were no problem for us. The lake site was great; shopping and restaurants are an easy drive. We hope to return one day -- our four-night stay was our favorite lake experience. »

« We enjoyed our visit very much even with the crazy storm or wind that caused the TV to go out. We loved the large checker board. The grounds and The Glass Chapel are beautiful. We loved the cabin and will be planning a future stay if the Lord is willing. Our host and her husband were great!!! »

« This home is perfect...peaceful, lovely view, everything you need! My father is from Gaffney and wanted to visit the gravesites and old home places of his family. This was the perfect home base. Well appointed kitchen, a bathroom for every bedroom and such a lovely quiet place to relax. We hope to visit again! »

« Our group of 10 adults had an absolutely wonderful stay at this property. The house was spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully laid out to offer both communal gathering spaces and private areas when needed. We never felt crowded and had everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable visit.The kitchen was fully equipped with all the tools we needed to cook and enjoy group meals, and the house was also well stocked with thoughtful incidental supplies.
