« My family had a wonderful time at the house. We gathered in the very spacious beautiful living room by the fire in the evenings and played games. The kitchen was well stocked, spacious and comfortable to move around in. We loved playing ping pong in the downstairs room. Everyone slept great as the location is on a quiet road. The house is very close to the town, restaurants, shopping and fun!! »

« Great place, fun little cozy spot. Not as secluded as it may appear in pictures. Farmhouse is about 100 feet away, and there are numerous other rentals nearby, so we had people walking around the house while we were there. Nice house, really enjoyed our stay, but not very private or secluded at all. If that’s ok with you, inside the place itself is nice. »

« We couldn’t be happier with our stay at Julie’s in Townshend. There are not many places that can accommodate my family with all the kids, but this property does and then some. « My family and I loved our stay. This cabin had everything we needed and more. One thing we do wish we had was fans in the upstairs rooms, as we stayed in the summer time and it did get quite hot up there. The owners were very helpful, and amazing with communication. « Our group was a 3 generation family ranging in age from 4-60’s. The house was as described. There was a large downstairs room with pool table, small tv and and 2 sofas. It was very comfortable. The 4 person hot tub is in a 3 season room off this room. The main floor was open and had a huge sofa that could seat 8-10. There was a large fireplace which we didn’t use. « This home has absolutely everything you need. The private beach is accessed through a short pleasant walk through the woods and it’s beautiful. »

« It was a great getaway. Perfect for recharging with peace and quiet of the woods and coziness of the propane fire place (I did have to call and have them light the pilot for me) they responded quickly and were there in 20 minutes. »

HOWEVER..the driveway clearly hadn’t been plowed for a long time when we got there and so once we pulled in our cars were stuck. We were trapped at the house for 3 days.
