The Cumberland Gap area is an absolutely Beautiful area. It is rolling hills mixed with horse farms. It is the foothills of the Smokies. the roads go along some of the old trails laid out. Driving past Lake Cumberland gives you the feel of deep wood in the Smokies, and still be on the foothills. There is old growth everywhere. I have not been here in the fall, but if you want to see the Smokies during the height of fall color, I would highly recommend this area, I am going to come back in october. With all of the old growth in the area, the hills and fields, and the roads I can not see how this would be anything one of the best ways to see the color and culture of the Smokies.

„We had a wonderful stay here! There are two single bed rooms, and one room with two full (queen possibly?) bunk beds. So 6 big beds all together and the couch pulls out as well. Check in and check out instructions were clear. There were corn hole boards and bags available. The hot tub was great, and we were in a nice, separated area. The place was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. “

„We enjoyed our stay at the cabin and Leigh was a very attentive host! The cabin was incredibly cozy and had every detail considered. The bed was very comfortable too!! We came to town to hike and explore Big Soth Fork, which is a gorgeous area. „The check in process was perfect! The gentleman covered everything I would need to know & I walked out of the office really feeling like we could call for any concern & it would be taken care! But… no need to call because the cabin was perfect! Clean and huge! The added extras of paper towels & soaps & all the rest that was stocked made the stay all the better! Honestly we had the best time on the lake and enjoyed every moment in the cabin! We def will be coming back! “
