« Adorable house very close to UCA campus on a quiet street. Check in is simple by just entering a code on the door lock pad that the owner gives the day of arrival. The backyard is spacious and welcoming. I loved drinking coffee there in the mornings. It has a full kitchen and a ton of lovely windows. We stayed a week with the temps over 100 and even in this historic home the ac kept up. « We had the best stay here!! The history of the house was amazing and the owners have kept it original while adding the modern conveniences. Myself and my daughters stayed and we spent so much time trying to take in all the special touches like the history of the house and of Shirley, very cool to read about! And Duke the hounddog was the perfect touch, he roams Shirley getting love and food from everyone. Perfect place to stay so you're in the middle of all the towns to go and do and experience...

« Loved the fenced in back yard for fur babies. Loved sitting on back deck and enjoying view. Nice and clear pathway to the lake. Cookstove left 2 burners didn't properly work. Noticed alot of red wasp and killed 2 of them and watched where they were flying to and from, the red shed next to house. Kitchen could use a much better can opener. Ran out of paper towels night before leaving. A statement "in the book said do not be afraid to use paper towels ". For keeping food particles out of sink. ...
