« Spacious house with mountain views near Great Sand Dunes National Park. The town is tiny but not terribly far from larger towns with more amenities. We really enjoyed the space to spread out and proximity to the dunes. The house had large appliances and spacious kitchen and plenty of hot water. The gas range especially was a pleasure to use. « We celebrated our 20th anniversary here and we hope this place is around for years to come for us to bring friends and family. The house was so light and airy inside with tons of space, lots of seating in the living room and dinning room, games of all kinds, and everything you need in the kitchen. « This house was really great.. yes, a few things could be upgraded but it’s very large and quiet. You can drive anywhere within 20 to 30 min. So scenic and beautiful »

« We had a fabulous time staying at this cabin. We saw a herd of elk, plenty of deer and beautiful birds! The furnishings and cleanliness were fantastic! Having coffee and spices on site was so appreciated. We would highly recommend this place to others and hope to visit again someday! Christie »

« Lori, the host, could not have been more friendly, helpful, and accommodating! She is truly a kind and helpful person.This place was ideal. We are 3 old friends who were interested in riding ATVs around the local trails. We were able to ride from the cabin. Everything inside worked, and we had no problems. The place was very comfortable and relaxing. As others have said, the bathroom is small, but hey, get in and out. The shower had plenty of water pressure and an ample supply of hot...

« The yurt was very comfortable and clean. The pictures were accurate and we really appreciated the tie out for our dog. You really only need to bring yourself and your food. What a great way to camp! We did have some terrible with the power staying on but the host was extremely responsive and did his best to help. We will be back. »

« The property is adorable, just like the pictures show. It is in the perfect area for seeing Cuchara, La Veta and San Isabel National Forest. The owner was more than willing to accommodate us with amenties and recommendations. »

« Beautiful property with comfortable beds and incredible views. Check-in was a breeze and owner worked with us on the check-in time. We loved the lack of WiFi, felt more like an escape (although cell service was strong if we needed anything). No dishwasher, which some might find off-putting, but not a problem for us. We thought it the perfect little cabin for a Colorado summer stay. »

« First impression was that the entire home was very clean. The 3 King bedrooms were perfect for 3 adult couples. We had plenty of space to spread out, enjoyed making breakfasts in the kitchen, and was just a short ride into Alamosa for supplies. Karen (host) provided excellent, clear instructions on accessing the property and other details about the amenities, and shared recommendations on restaurants! Overall, we were very comfortable in this home, and can't think of anything that was missing! »

10/10 Excellent

"Un hôtel simple, peut-être un peu cher pour la qualité de certains équipements, mais la vue sur le parc de Great Sand Dunes des terrasses de chaque chambre fait oublier tout cela. L’emplacement est idéal pour profiter du parc. Le petit-déjeuner est compris mais c’est du à emporter dans la chambre (Grab and Go)."
