« One of the worst hotels I’ve stayed In over the last 20+ years of frequent travel. First, there is not enough parking in the motel as it appeared many guests are living there. So you have to park in the overflow across the street, not the end of the world but not ideal. Also, upon arrival, we noticed one side of the building was completely caved in from an apparent vehicle ramming and caution taped off. Again, not earth shattering, but not a great aesthetic either. « Can’t say anything bad about this property. It was clean, comfortable, quiet, and the staff was awesome. We did forget an expensive beach volleyball and when we went back to get it no one could find it. But that was reported to management and I am waiting for a call back. They were very helpful with that. They have a lovely restaurant there in site with home cooked food which was a treat since we had been traveling for softball tournament. »

« My stay at the Hampton inn Covington was disappointing. Overall, I had doubts with regards to the cleanliness of the room (sheets, towels and shower). The water temperature was inconsistent all through the stay. »

« The house was very clean and as advertised. The location was great for out weekend plans, the drive to the Homestead and Jefferson pools was not bad at all. We had a great weekend at this house! »

« The location was great, nice coffee shop across the street for breakfast. The unit was generally clean, but the corners and window ledges were a bit dirty. There is an issue with the little ladybug like beetles. Also, there was leftover animal hair on the furniture from a prior guest with a pet. Nothing problematic enough to contact the host while there. The mattresses were VERY firm, so they weren’t ideal for my husband and I. « We loved this property. It had beautiful decorations and furniture inside the house.The hot tub was very nice. The view of the mountains outside was a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the views. I loved all the woodwork inside.It was perfect! This is probably one of the best places we have ever stayed in. »

« I wish I could upload the pictures from inside this property. The house was disgustingly filthy, cobwebs, dead bugs, etc. It smelled musty and old. I went to open one of the blinds and because they were so old it broke. We cut our visit in half and only stayed one night because we could not stay on the property another day. I immediately contacted the property manager, Natalie, about the blind and sent pictures. The owner, Sandy, still charged me even after sending her pictures of the disgusting...

« The check-in process was very simple. The directions to the location were excellent. We make all of our own meals and did not find anything lacking in the kitchen. The place was neat and had a very comfortable chair and couch in the living room. We would definitely stay there again. My one comment would be to check the water pressure in the shower. »

« We had originally booked the studio apt for Jan 9 to visit an elderly parent - a family emergency came up and we had to move our visit to as soon as possible - the owner kindly allowed us to transfer the booking to an earlier date, the 5th (the day after my distressed call) at the cottage instead so other family members could stay as well. Owner is not local, so apparently did not know that the cottage was not quite prepared for guests- it was clean, but not stocked and had some repairs going...
