„After some misunderstandings with the hotel we had initially booked for that night we booked a night here on short notice. We were nicely welcomed by the family that operates this hotel. Their son, who was circling the parking lot on his bicycle, even guided us to the entrance. Everything seemed to be newly renovated, so our stay was an overall good experience. „This was the second time staying at Hope Acres. I loved it the first time. The second time was not so smooth. There was a red fire alert and we were not notified. We were not able to use the bbq or the fire pit. I felt like the host should have let us know in advance. Also I tried to call the host because I was not notified of the specific camp grounds and I never received a call back. The garbage’s were full and the outhouse we were supposed to use was also gross and full. “

Everything was clean and well taken care of—the bathroom was clean and comfortable to use, and the shower was super easy to operate. „Went to the Gathering at Altamont Park and up to Moon lake. Our stay was great and the cabin was perfect. Opened the door Friday morning to find a large Antelope with impressive horns and his girlfriend just outside the door. Had a great stay. A++“
