« Property is as listed. It is a fully operational farm so keep that in mind. We went up for a race weekend @ Deer creek speedway. Does offer amenities including washer, dryer, toaster, stove/oven, and refrigerator. Pull out sofa along with some cots. Shower and toilet, it is also equipped with ac/heat. Does have a barn available ( more or less camping ). Would visit again. »

« We came up for the weekend for our fanily reunion . The house is old & smells like an old house, which isn't a bad thing. The house was clean & tidy. We couldn't find the hot tub,but it was all good. We didn't spend much time at the house, except for sleeping & watching tv in the evening. Thank you for a pleasant stay. »

« We absolutely loved our stay at the Country School Guest House! Andrea and Sheldon were warm and welcoming! We truly enjoyed our visits in the yard. We loved hearing about the house and rescue animals. Kadi and Molly (the host’s rescue dogs) were happy to visit with us each morning and evening after our biking adventures! « We had a fantastic stay, really appreciated the proximity to all sorts of fun family activities - we did the Mystery Cave Scenic Tour, our own Amish country driving tour (courtesy of the host supplied map), biked a ton, went to the community pool, did a few of the "nine hole" fishing spots in Preston (stop by Curt's and/or Driftless Flying Fishing for tips), and went for a tube float down the Root River with Root River Outfitters. « Dan was super nice and accommodating. If you are looking for a 5 star hotel, look elsewhere. It you want a large, clean farmhouse, this place is for you. Being a working family farm, expect to see a tractor or two going in and out. We really enjoyed sitting on the wrap around porch with a book watching the cows. Lilly, the family's dog, was super friendly and may come to visit you. We will definitely go back! Thanks again Dan! »

« Lynn's home in the woods was the perfect spot to stay while attending a family reunion. The setting back in the woods is beautiful with all the flora and fauna. Lynn made sure there was a run down of all the activities in the area, as well as favorite things to do in the woods and streams around the house. We went in the heat of July so care had to be taken to keep the house cool and well ventilated. The whole home was very well stocked, we wanted for nothing. Thanks for letting us stay! »
