« This place was amazing! I loved the setting near the river. The listing was very accurate and the attention to detail was superb. They had things like Kleenex boxes strategically placed and a fly swatter; gentle seemingly small touches that made it feel more like a home. Their beach towels were SUPER HUGE and the clean and uncluttered reality of the space was wonderful. I loved the deck and the patio. The kayaking was superb. « What a great spot to stay in Clear Lake! Everything was perfect for our group of five couples who were in town for a concert at The Surf. We had plenty of space and the house was clean and very nicely done. We had everything we needed and the host was friendly and easy to communicate with. Great spot for any group to stay. We will definitely stay again! Thank you! »

« Great rental. Close to downtown and lake and park. Only problem is the three steps up from entrace room to main livong area. Difficult if handicapped. »

« A nice place for us to stop on our way through town and for our first time in Clear Lake. Some lamps would be a nice addition, especially in the bedrooms. There are some tricky stairs that less sure-footed guests should be aware of. »

« We had a really nice time staying at Swordfish Dog Retreat. The house was clean, well appointed, and wonderfully decorated. It is within walking distance to the downtown and the lake. The lower level was stocked with everything you need to make your dog comfy and the fenced in yard was great too! Mike and Abby were easy to contact about check in and anything else we needed. We hope to stay again in the near future. »
