„So the parking was a bit hard to find because it was down a side alleyway. When we got inside, none of the beds had sheets on them and the linens in the dryer were still a bit damp. I texted the host but got no response. There was brown stains on the memory foam mat in the kitchen and spider webs in the bathroom that we had to clean. „Nice location for shopping and food. Everything in walking distance including historic area. Geat place to stay for down town events. Allowed our dog too but you need to take pet up and dow metal stairs to get to apartment and plan to walk a block to potty. Parking can be tricky. There is a parking lot about a block away.“

They've compiled a binder with just about everything you need to know about the island, the area, restaurants, etc. The cottage feels like home, and it's proximity to the York River provided lovely views, as well as a wide array of birds, from eagles to osprey to herons and more. The cottage was so comfortable that we didn't even mind being rained in for a day. “
