„I loved the room itself. Very comfortable, clean ,and well kept. The staff were extremely helpful and nice. Great access to historic Nauvoo. The only downside is that the rooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floors right above a barbecue restaurant. Which was in the description. But, they are carpeted and not to code. The building was built in the 1800's. I am a large person with bad joints. I knew that there were stairs, but I was on the 3rd floor. The stairs were a challenge and a trip ...

„I have stayed here several times. Feels like home. All you need for the kitchen is there. Comfy bed and cute setup. Parking right outside the front door. Close to everything in town. Rebecca is so quick to respond to questions via the app or you can knock on her door. She allows pets which is a plus for me. The apartment is alway clean and welcoming. “

„We had a wonderful anniversary trip to Nauvoo. The historic and quaint Mix House added some period charm to our stay. While the house retains much of its 19th century charm, it has the modern conveniences needed for a relaxing stay. It may have been the off season, but food and meal choices were limited in Nauvoo itself. We were grateful for the items we ordered from The Apron Bake Shoppe.“

„This was hands down our family's favorite stay of our trip (5 or 6 different places). Plenty of sleeping space for the 6 (2 adults, 2 teens, 2 kids). Kitchen was nice, though we didn't use it for much. Air conditioning worked great and main bed was nice. Couch beds were nice enough for the kids to not complain. Location was great for visiting nauvoo and being closer to groceries and such in Keokuk. Really nice stay overall!“
