« Exceptionnel. Les villas à 2 chambres sont très spacieuses et d'une propreté impeccable. Cuisine entièrement équipée y compris avec lave linge, sèche linge, le linge de maison et les produits vaisselle. Site très calme en plein milieu des champs, peut-être un peu trop éloigné du centre de Nauvoo. Dans l'une des 2 chambres, aucune lampe de chevet. Cet équipement devrait être ajouté. »

« Unfortunately, it is very dark where the motel is. Pulling in, we were very uncomfortable. Had we been able to get a refund, we would have left. However, the owner put us at ease and told us we were safe. She is very careful handling ice, and we were grateful for that. We did sleep well. Not much for breakfast so got a cup of coffee and left in the morning. »

« This cabin is a 1940s cabin and that's what it is. Don't expect luxury. Dogs and kids will love it -- bunk beds, a loft bed and a not-heavily-traveled road to walk dogs. The wall of west-facing windows gives a beautiful view across the Mississippi River for stunning sunsets. There's a small beach where you can sit. But beware -- GPS has NO idea where the cabin is. After being lost twice, I went to the app to message the host and realized there were driving instructions. But those weren't sent...

The alleyway from the front is level concrete and well lit. We parked in back as we were instructed. It was a little confusing at first, until I reread the instructions. The concrete alleyway from the back is uneven and not as well lit. But the town is a safe one, so security is already felt. The stairs to the upper apts...

« To be very honest the property is not what I expected from the listing. However, after getting settled in and the excellent communication with the host, the 6-week stay was very pleasant. The host was wonderful and checked on us on a regular basis. Host was very quick to fix any issues and was also very quick in all responses. They made us feel welcome.
