« We had a wonderful time at this location and would recommend it to anyone looking for a secluded get away. You will not have cellphone service, but the wifi connection is strong.The hot tub was very clean with a great view. We enjoyed watching the sun set over the mountains and star gazing.The wood burning stove will heat the whole main area of the house, and adds wonderful ambiance. The host was gracious and attentive. « Great location for a quiet family vacation - quiet and secluded but opportunities for walks and to visit the nearby McDowell battlefield. Host was very welcoming and helpful and the house had everything we needed. Will definitely come back! »

« This was our second time to visit and had a blast! Was hoping for a white Christmas but the weather did not cooperate! Our older kids came to visit for a couple of days and there was plenty for everyone to do on-site. The hot tub was a great hit as well! Well anointed kitchen with plenty of blankets and pillows on those chilly nights. The creek flowed higher this time of year which was great to listen to out by the firepit! If you want peace and quiet - this is the place to go! »
