« We loved it here! Felt like time traveling a bit, while still having some newer amenities like adjustable bed, TV, nice big shower. The room was so cozy and I loved that we had a physical key for our room. Please never paint this place white!! The natural wood is so cozy and made us so happy! We will definitely be coming back here! »

« We had a wonderful time at this location and would recommend it to anyone looking for a secluded get away. You will not have cellphone service, but the wifi connection is strong.The hot tub was very clean with a great view. We enjoyed watching the sun set over the mountains and star gazing.The wood burning stove will heat the whole main area of the house, and adds wonderful ambiance. The host was gracious and attentive. We had the opportunity to purchase some artisan maple syrup from the Sugar...

« This was our second time to visit and had a blast! Was hoping for a white Christmas but the weather did not cooperate! Our older kids came to visit for a couple of days and there was plenty for everyone to do on-site. The hot tub was a great hit as well! Well anointed kitchen with plenty of blankets and pillows on those chilly nights. The creek flowed higher this time of year which was great to listen to out by the firepit! If you want peace and quiet - this is the place to go! »

« I like to say things I think will be helpful for future guests. First, the house slopes up in the first half and down in the second. The stove is in one small room, the sink in another and the refrigerator in another. No problem for us. Stair are narrow on riser but good railings. Fall risk for anyone unsteady on their feet. Very quiet and peaceful. Beds comfortable. »

« Love the cabin. It was our 6th year coming this time of year. Usually the cabin is stocked with toilet paper and firewood but this year we ran out and had to go to the mountain store. The first year we came there was a Christmas tree in the loft but they don’t put one up anymore. The pig that comes to visit did not disappoint. My grands love the pig! We didn’t see any other animals like in the past. It’s still our fave place to come spend quality time together as a family. »

« Great location for a quiet family vacation - quiet and secluded but opportunities for walks and to visit the nearby McDowell battlefield. Host was very welcoming and helpful and the house had everything we needed. Will definitely come back! »

« Quiet,roomy and comforting. Plenty of space to explore outside. A cute extra cabin room. The house also includes a game room and movie theater. »

« Condo and the property was very outdated. Beds were uncomfortable. There is a great coffee shop and restaurant/bar at the property so that was nice, but it closed early. The location was ideal for skiing - so for that reason only I would stay here again. »

« Silver Creek 2211 recently was renovated. Unlike some rooms/ apartments my son and I have stayed in at Silver Creek/ Snowshoe, the furnishings/ decor was up to date. Silver Creek itself is a fun, enjoyable lodge for families with a pool, restaurant, and various games for kids. I would gladly stay there again. »
