„Very lovely remote cabin in the woods. We were there because of the fall colors and photographing waterfalls. We were about 9 miles to the nearest town, Mellen, WI. And there was a gas station and grocery/hardware/liquor store in Mellen. The place was very clean. We always do our own cooking and the kitchen was fully stocked. Plenty of room for the two of us. „The cabin was spacious and clean. The owner came by and greeted. He was super helpful and polite. The cabin was well stocked with. Hand soap, toiletries, dishwasher detergent…you name it. This was the first VBRO stay I didn’t need to run to the store and get some because the owner kept everything well stocked. The beds were also comfortable and my little children had so much fun. The beach front was great and the docks were perfect for the kids to fish from. He let us use both docks which was ...

„It was a great property with minimal traffic and quiet neighbors. Lots of room for a dog to run around. Great cabin that was clean and had all the amenities we needed. Would definitely go back! “

„This multi-level house/cabin works well for family and friends to gather on the island. Lots of room inside and outside for potluck dinners and game nights. The basement 2br apartment was especially nice for our son's family with a toddler. The kitchen is well equipped and has excellent appliances. Claire was a great host and responded immediately to all questions. There is excellent storage and lots of refrigerator and freezer space for your island stay, “

The 8 bedrooms are at one end of the building allowing “the littles” to go to sleep earlier than the adults with no need to worry about making too much noise to disturb their slumber. „we had a really lovely time on Madeline Island. The house was just what we needed - modest, but with all the necessary amenities to cook a meal, relax and enjoy the water. The access across the road was easy and convenient. The kayaks were awesome! We had an early snag where the property had not been fully cleaned from the previous guests but Alan was on it immediately and offered compensation for the hassle which was much appreciated! Highly recommend!“

„Great property in awesome location. House was all it said it would be. Plenty of sleeping area, rest area and play area. We were there for a golf getaway so we didn't use any of the water toys, but they were all there if we would have wanted to. Clean and many kitchen items to use for cooking. I would recommend this to anyone staying in the area. “

„We had a family reunion up in northern Wisconsin and i needed a place that was close to my uncles place but also allowed dogs and this place was perfect! It was close to everything from Walmart, to downtown, shops! The house was very nice and perfect for 3 adults and my pup. It was great having a fenced in yard so she didnt need to be on a tie out and she was at home during our stay! the house was very clean inside and out! the deck off the siding doors was perfect for morning coffee. the cabin ...

„We visited my son a few miles away from the condo, so it was perfect! Went to lake superior and hung out had great food at local restaurants! We also visited some other sites on our way there and back, so we know our great granddaughters had a great time!!“
