« If you want to get away from it all, this is the place. Thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Spotted Grouper so much we stayed another day, thank you Sheree! »

« It was a quiet and relaxing stay. Everyone really enjoyed the week. The first evening we were there we were able to watch a dolphin swim close to the shore. Even charging the shore at times to push the fish that way. It was really neat to watch. The sunrises and moonrises were also great. We didn't see more than a few people on the beach. The last day we were there it looked like some other families arrived in the houses nearby, but I imagine it would still be pretty quiet even with them there....

« We enjoyed our stay. The home was very clean and stocked with our cooking needs. The bay view was calming and was much cooler with a cool breeze coming over the bay while sitting on rocking chairs on the porch, while enjoying the sunset. The location was easy access to nearby state parks, aquarium and beaches. My family would recommend this location. »

« We love this place! It was spotlessly clean upon our arrival. We call it our campus cottage, as it has a wonderful cottage feel and it's an easy , quick 7 minute drive to FSU campus where our grandson was attending band camp. Our hosts couldn't have been more thoughtful and kind. We're looking forward to our next visit. Thank you. »

« Great house! We especially enjoyed the large screened in porch with beautiful sunrises. Home was equipped with so many kids things that was so helpful! I.e high chairs, pack and play, lots of toys, (our 2 yr old grandson Loved the chicken! He cried because it couldn’t come back with us! lol), and many kids dinnerware, cups, etc! The owners were very helpful in getting us anything we needed, and made great recommendations on eateries and things to do in area! Highly recommend! »

« Great Vacation Property! I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to go to the beach without the crowd!the house was clean and stocked with all the appliances you might need. There is an outdoor shower to wash off the sand from the beach. There is also a toy area outside stocked with a few beach toys. If you want beach chairs or shade options plan to bring your own unless you get lucky and someone who stays before you happens to leave a few with the toys. The water is pretty calm on this...

« We found the house to be very cute with 2 master bedrooms with complete bathrooms in both, kitchen and living room in the middle. We did not bring our doggie but the fenced in yard was clean and looked very safe to let your dog go out into. Large Florida room had a dining table for 6 and a twin bed for a nap for my mom. We fished from the beach behind the house. Highly recommend. »

« Had some great times touring st. George Island and seeing lighthouses »

« Enjoyed the views and plenty of room for our group. Although there is no water access except via boat at the property, we did walk down the road to the public beach. Although it was rocky in the water, we enjoyed the undeveloped location where the kids found crabs and other creatures. »

« With two young kids, this was a great place to take them to the beach without the hustle and bustle of a touristy area. The state park surrounding the cottage is a beautiful backdrop. The cottage has everything you need and is well maintained with added amenities. Watch for deer and wildlife outdoors! Beach is close with convenient access. Would stay again. »

« The pictures don’t do this property justice!!!! The property owner is so caring and even called me to make sure we got in safely. We were in town for a funeral but we needed this property! It gave us such peace and solace in our time of sadness. We are originally from the area and were still in awe of the beautiful surroundings. It brought back memories of the great times I had on the St. Marks River. The decor was beautiful and fit the home. Nothing fancy, just lots of thoughtful things placed...
