« Our first time staying in a cabin/airb&b, we weren't sure what to expect. Joshua put us at ease early when reaching out with a warm welcome and helpful tips. The home was beautiful, outside with its multi level decks and view of the mountain side. Inside the house was very cozy and spacious offering all the comforts of home from a great living room with modern entertainment like streaming services, DVDs, board games and books. « We came in Fall for a quick getaway to explore the area. The Great Outpost was indeed, great!Our host were welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed and more, including the hot tub. Really cool place to stay. Close to Kernville, where they were having a community fall festival. So much fun! I would love to come back to ski. Thank you Fyza!!!! »

« This room is as clean and as pristine as it looks in the the online pictures (stayed 12/2025) and was clean as a whistle. It was also very quiet which was a huge and pleasant surprise b/c it is near a major freeway. Cute, small neighborhood. It is very convenient in terms of getting around and is an easy drive to lots of amenities. The owner/proprieter was easy to communicate with. »

« A great place to get away from it all! The RV is beautiful, and the setting rustic, full of nature's beauty. Very nice kitchen, comfy bed. Our lovely hosts helped us with everything we needed. There's a firepit where you can do camp-cooking or smores, and the "guard dogs" are big fluffy marshmallows, there to protect you from any aggressive wildlife (of which we saw none, but it was still nice to know the dogs were there for us). We'd love to come stay again sometime! 😊 »
