« Rose Cottage was perfect and a delightful place to stay with dogs. The house had everything we needed and was so organized and welcoming that we were quick to feel at home. Jessie was so kind when we met. The fire pit and axe throwing down by the creek was so refreshing and the dogs were wild about running about in the huge fenced in section of the yard. We also enjoyed the deck. We're eager to come back when visiting our family and hometown again soon. »

« The house is beautiful. With four bedrooms on the main floor, it was convenient for our physically challenged family members. The entertainment system was phenomenal, we loved the downstairs rec area, and the views from the back deck were amazing. We only had two issues during our five day stay. One was that the propane tanks were empty but the owner resolved that right away. The second was a rude neighbor who yelled at us when docking the boat saying we were going too fast. « My group consisted of 2 married couples and 1 single guy. A motorcycle event out of Gearhead Junction in Pembroke brought us to Newport. The cottage was perfect for our group. Plenty of space for privacy as well as gathering to socialize. On Saturday I had planned to visit a few local shops but instead stayed on the farm and enjoyed the peace and serenity. Our dogs loved the fenced in yard and fenced/escape proof front porch. Thank you for sharing your lovely mountain cottage. »

« The home is beautiful, wonderful quiet location. I think we enjoyed the kitchen most of all since ours is currently under renovation, we’ve been eating out nightly. We enjoyed cooking dinner every night. it could use a pizza stone and a pizza cutter. We enjoyed the pool when we were able to use it, unfortunately we had a very rainy week. I would suggest for older folks like myself, or anyone for that matter a hand rail at the pool steps would be nice, first time in my foot slipped off the step...
