„Ok place to stay close to town.“

„First thing noticed upon entering the room was the bathroom toilet. It was obvious that the "moving" ... loose stool had been stabilized ... attempted to ... by use of chalking. CAN NOT BE DONE. The stool not only moved up and down left to right, it also had noticeable movement front to back. I let the front desk know upon receiving a text from the hotel as to my "satisfaction" which I replied to on Saturday. I also stated the hours I would be out celebrating a 50th wedding anniversary thus ...

„Great place to stay, large room, good shower, everything works, great location, good access to places to eat. Breakfast is so-so.“

„They admitted they were new at running a hotel. Room could not get cool, no shade to block sunlight, NO remote for the postage size TV, bathroom exhaust was extremely loud. Once they brought the TV remote only 1 local channel was available and even lost signal to that..I checked out did not stay. They offered to move me to another room with a newer TV..why wasn't I given that to begin with?????“

„We are in Pella several times a year and prefer staying in the downtown VRBOs...this time, we hit the jackpot! Beautifully decorated and restored. The history of the building was a nice touch. Location was perfect. The neighbor was so sweet and helpful. The owners were easy to work with and responsive. We'll definitely try to stay here again on our next trip.“

„What a jewel this house is - the history and the care in renovating are phenomenal. I slept upstairs and enjoyed it very much. I love all the windows which allow a lot of light into the house. I was surprised how close it was to the street and we did hear some street noise through the night. The coffee bar was wonderful as was the garden which notes all of the flowers that have been planted. I really enjoyed that.“
