« Beautiful location and history »

« The cabin was what we expected: clean, charming decorations, kitchen had supplies for cooking and cleaning: dishes, utensils, soap, salt & pepper, coffee, drinking water and water for washing. Also had plastic cutlery and styrofoam plates. The outhouse wasn’t that bad. Nice, secluded fire pit area with grates, roasting sticks and a tripod for outdoor cooking. Lawn chairs in the shed (outhouse.) Right off the highway but feels like you’re in the woods. »

« Beautiful location in Sturgein Bay. Close to town & walkable to a public beach and many attractions and shops a clise drive to even more options for shopping and eating. The view of the bay, islands & penninsulas makes me realize how special my ancestors must have felt when founding Door County. »

« nice woodsy resort wuth nice pools and whirlpools. Little drive 3-5 miles to town but very nice coastal drive with quaint little shops along the route with restauraunts. would easily book there again. »

« Having never stayed at the Waterbury we didn't know what to expect but ended up enjoying our stay there. The hotel overall is kept clean. The 2 bedroom loft plus pullout bed provided decent room for 5 of us, including 3 adult children. The grill and gas fire pit with seating area out front is very nice. Both pools (indoor/outdoor) and hottub were clean and provided an enjoy spot to spend time in the water. The grounds of the resort are maintained very well too. Only the landscape islands...

« This place is truly something special! We loved falling asleep the gentle lull of the waves in the harbor. The boat and harbor house were well maintained and had a charming, nostalgic vibe. We enjoyed coffee on the deck in the morning and walking the harbor wall. There’s a fantastic little cafe with outdoor seating, The Serving Spoon, just across the street and a playground for kiddos right at the marina. « AWESOMENESS »

« We all had a wonderful time, it is in a great location. Perfect place to relax! We had two older teen boys with us and even they had a great time! They lived in the kayaks, they fished from them and also from the dock. We all enjoyed the game room and yard games. The coffee bar was a nice little perk, especially on the chilly mornings. My husband and I took a bike ride around the neighborhood and everyone was so friendly. We would absolutely recommend the Lake Haus! »

« We stayed for a girls weekend and this place was perfect! Well stocked with everything that could be needed and very clean. Very conveniently located while also quiet and private. Would definitely love to stay here again in the future! »

« The home is gorgeous inside with stellar lake views; the only logistical issues are with missing silverware - not enough for a full complement of guests. We cooked often, made use of the charcoal grill, went canoeing with an assist carrying from one of the neighboring houses and bought firewood from a nearby stand but never did get out to light one. « This was our second stay in the Guest House. Everything was spotless and the owners are attentive and helpful. We had a group of 4 "seniors" and the location was perfect as a base for visiting all parts of Door County. »

« Its a small but comfy house. Clean and well kept. It had what we needed. Kitchen is stocked with all the utensils you need but bring all spices, sugars and condiments. The best part is you walk out the back door and 20 feet away is the beach. Easy to get to, no stones, all sand. We didn't swim that wasn't on our list to do but we did enjoy campfires and sunsets right on the beach. We saw eagles and pelicans and we enjoyed the quiet and privacy of the beach.
