« Host was responsive to problems we encountered upon arrival, but they should have been addressed prior to arrival through housekeeping management.The kitchen was not well stocked with dinnerware, so come prepared if you have a full house.You’re at a train crossing, so be prepared for train horns and crossings 24/7.The cabin had comfortable beds and lounge furniture and the air conditioning was good. Would stay again if our favorite spot is unavailable. »

« We came into the area for the Haltfield and McCoy Half Marathon. It was conveniently located to the race finish and the packet pickup. Otherwise, it would have been an hour drive from Pikeville or Logan, WV. It was charming and just perfect for our needs. The bonus was allowing dogs to stay on the premises. The train didn’t bother us at all. »

« Pictures don't do it justice! This was a great place to spend our vacation in. Creek right behind the house was absolutely stunning. While I was drinking coffee on the large porch the first morning, a deer welcomed me to the neighborhood. Incredibly peaceful spot. We did a lot of sightseeing, so we didn't get a chance to fish the lake that's well within walking distance, but heard it is a great fishing lake. « Really great property if you’re interested in riding outlaw trails! It was perfect for us as the Hatfield and McCoy is a bit busy and very groomed. Leave your trailer at the suite and ride right to trails, food, gas ect. Julie had a tablet with trail maps for us to rent which was awesome. The suite is cute, clean, and spacious.
