« Great environment, and Hiram is a very friendly host. Our family of 4 has stayed at the "bridge cottage" (unit "109" out of 8 (?)) for 2 nights, in a very relaxing place (forest/pond/pool). We were looking for a place to rest between big cities' craziness and the cottage was a perfect fit. Wifi was terrible though, barely functional. As long as you don't mind an overall rustic/shabby feel, you'll probably have as good a time here as we did. Worth noting, Hiram answered all our questions really...

« Overall, great, clean property in a nice central location. However, we found the house was missing major kitchen accommodations: kitchen linens, butter knives, and baking pans. Also, the downstairs bathroom had no bath mats and the tile was extremely slippery when showering. We would stay here again knowing we would have to plan accordingly and bring extra supplies from home. »

« We stayed at a cabin in the Pocono Mountains and the location is the highlight—quiet, private, and a great area. The sauna and hot tub were nice features and added to the stay.That said, the property needs significant maintenance.
