„Wow!! Where do I start. My family had the best 3 days, days and nights of peace and tranquility, plus so much to do.David and Lizette open their farm to you. There are chickens to feed , eggs to collect and sheep to feed. So much for city kids to have a glimpse of country life.Night times are perfect with the outside fire burning and toasting marshmallows or there are lots of board games to play.York is 6 minutes away so plenty of opportunity to learn about the history of the town and a local ...

„Had a wonderful time. Home is beautiful and the perfect getaway. Not from from town. Owners aren't far away and super helpful when needing help with the pizza oven and information about the farm animals that we were able to feed and interact with. Great enclosed area for the dogs. Very friendly people. “

„We loved our stay. The place had everything we needed. The little gourmet cafe at the end of the street and indian restaurant were also great! “

„Lovely property, very private and quiet location. Outdoor and indoor fires were stocked with wood ready to relax and enjoy with the bottle of wine provided :) A very minor suggestion would be to have a bedside lamp rather than relying on main lights, and a cheese knife would be fab! Overall we had a very enjoyable night away :) “

„Well located and cosy villa on a peaceful bush block in Chidlow. One of our better school holiday stays with a well equipped, maintained and very clean home. The loft, spa and broad collection of books and toys was great to entertain the kids (2 under 7) who were able to stay off devices for 4 days!Check-in was easy, with home and grounds being safe and easily accessible. It's clear that Mark and Fay put care and quality into their home.Would happily stay again. “

„We had a wonderful stay at The Bickley Cottage. The property is just magical. The view is something that is to be seen to be believed. It is just amazing. The hosts are very kind and welcoming. Petra answered so many questions that my children asked her and was very accommodating to them. „I was on a working holiday for 11 nights & due to the peace & quiet, achieved much & it was a productive time. Visited by a small, cute Quenda (an Australian marsupial).
