« Nous avons passé deux semaines à profiter du site au pie de la mer: marches sur la plage, contemplation et jeux sur le terrain. La plage de Melmerby, à 10 minutes d’auto est magnifique. New Glasgow, tout près, offre tous les services nécessaires. Le chalet est grand, confirtable et bien équipé. On s’y sent chez soi! La décoration présente de multiples objets dont on imagine l’histoire. Malgré la proximité des voisines, le respect et le clame règnent dans le voisinage. Nous espérons y séjourner à...

« Location perfect. Great sunsets. Cottage is very nice, just needs to be tightened up a bit( back door ), as lots of bugs get in house. Back door doesn't lick. But overall, very goodas lots of spiders & other bugs »

« The appartment is absolutely perfect for a short stay. Nice neighbourhood. Not enough parking but we managed to find some. I totally recommend. »

« Our group included three young people (ages 18-22) and all of us were incredibly impressed with the lodging itself - a whole charming house - and especially with the location, near the lovely town of Antigonish and very near to a fantastic 4 km long beach (Pomquet Beach) with seals, fir trees, spectacular sunsets, etc. We went in January - not a time in Nova Scotia for the timid - and the house was warm and cozy and the host had the driveway plowed for us as soon as we asked. « The house is, technically, as described but there are a few design issues that made it hard to use. The ladder, which is needed to access the loft, blocks the bathroom door. So if you have it in place for climbing, it has to be moved to open the loo door, then moved back to climb back up again. We have stayed in tiny houses before and found them easier to maneuver around. Which would be fine but at this price it should be somewhat more comfy. Caveat Emptor »

And very quick (<10 minutes) drive to theatres, malls, and Stellarton, Westville, and about 20 minutes to the town of Pictou. « Very good location. Nice lodging. Clean but we had an ants problem which lead us to leave after three days of a ten days stays. Hope this issue will be fixed by the owner as the place is very nice. »
