„Collier Cabin was a perfect base camp for our family-of-two Ozark National Scenic Riverway adventure (kayaking on the Jacks Fork - Alley Spring to Eminence, swimming at Rocky Falls and Johnson's shut-ins SP, visiting Prairie Hollow Gorge and Barn Hollow Gorge natural areas, plus we found the Shawnee Creek wild horses). „This was one of the best places I have stayed! We needed to get in a little early to put stuff in the fridge as we were floating that morning and was accommodated. The owner did come and make sure everything was good and asked if we needed anything else. The cabin itself was great! The kitchen was well stocked on anything that you may need and the dining, kitchen, living room area were great! If I had to change anything it would be a/c for the bedrooms. „This is a great property in the Ozarks! Although its off the beaten path, it was worth it. The property had roaming horses (6) of them. They were such a joy to watch and pet! We did not see the owners during our stay, but knew they were close if we needed anything. Over all the stay is something we would do again. „This was a wonderful stay! Perfect for a family with dogs. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was fully stocked, the grounds were beautiful, and the bathroom was great for showering off the river at the end of the day. We used playing cards and small cooler the host provided while we were there and enjoyed a nice fire outside. „A beautiful setting, impossible to tell youre right on the edge of town. Quiet, peaceful, private and so clean, we all loved the setting. “

„We had so much fun. The hosts were amazing. The food at the whiskey river outpost was delicious. My kids loved the tiny house so much that they wanted to buy it and bring it home with us so we could live in it. “

„I usually stay closer to Eminence when I am in the area for float trips. I decided to try going a little further south and find something a little nicer this year. I’m glad we did because Stormy Mountain Ranch was much better than any place I’ve stayed around Eminence in the past. The host was very nice and made sure we had everything we needed.
