« This was like stepping back in time! My husband grew up coming here to a family cabin back in the 60's and 70's. The old part of town has not changed much with its quiet setting and old time charm. We loved not having cell service or TV it was so refreshing being able to just chill. We have Verizon and found if we stood in the road there was some reception. We would/will definitely return.We had difficulty operating the projector TV (and did not succeed). We thought that a coffee table (of any size) would be great in front of that big comfy couch so we could safely set down a drink and a snack. »

« Because of the size of our group, we booked the lodge along with the campground, yurt, and the homestead cabin. The set up was marvelous for our family of 43. The beds were comfortable, and spaces were well-equipped. The kitchen was our main selling point. We couldn’t have imagined a better place to prepare and serve food. Inside plus outside seating easily accommodated our large group. The weather was too warm to have a campfire, but the campfire space was an excellent outdoor gathering space....
