« OK, we liked the hotel & the location even though it was nearing, but had not reached, the end of a renovation. Clean, quiet, very helpful evening desk clerk who was working by herself. « Check in was great . We had a little problem with heat . The gas tank leaked the propane tank was empty. We had to leave the house due to cold weather would rather have stayed there but had to go to motel. Owner was very good to us this is not their fault just something that happened. Everything has been taken care of I highly recommend this property for cuter stays. Ted »

« Who knew there was such a wonderful hidden treasure a mere 2 hours away from New Orleans!!! My wife and I stayed here on the last night of our honeymoon and we wish we would have stayed longer. We stayed in the Owl's Nest and it was exactly what we needed for the last night. When we walked in, I asked my wife if this was glamping, and she said, in her view, yes. « The room was adequate for a one night stay. Clean, comfortable and quiet. A lot of workman staying there with their boots outside the door and clothes drying in the breeze gave it a campy feeling like it was a safe place to stay. Water was hot, toilet is so low its like a kids' potty! The toilet paper is way too close to the toilet so be careful on your way down!
