« 10 STARS !!!! This is hands down the best non-hotel we have ever stayed at. It was clean, super clean, and just so cozy ! Even has the technical means available for those of us who prefer soft music over television! We were so happy with everything Laurel Mississippi and our little cozy place we just wanted to stay forever! Our host was very available and I have absolutely not one negative! Great place!! »

« Who knew there was such a wonderful hidden treasure a mere 2 hours away from New Orleans!!! My wife and I stayed here on the last night of our honeymoon and we wish we would have stayed longer. We stayed in the Owl's Nest and it was exactly what we needed for the last night. When we walked in, I asked my wife if this was glamping, and she said, in her view, yes. « Check in was great . We had a little problem with heat . The gas tank leaked the propane tank was empty. We had to leave the house due to cold weather would rather have stayed there but had to go to motel. Owner was very good to us this is not their fault just something that happened. Everything has been taken care of I highly recommend this property for cuter stays. Ted »

« Everything was perfect in the cottage! Super cozy and conveniently located to town! We rode the Amtrak in. Had lunch at Pearl’s diner. Shopped the shops and had dinner at the Loft! The people of Laurel are so kind and accommodating! »

« The listing is very misleading. Photo 1 is the parking. Photo 2 is the porch/lanai. Photo 3 is the view from the living room. Photo 4 is the view from the bedroom. Photos 5 and 6 are the tiny living room area that has a loveseat rather than a sofa. Photo 7 is the bedroom. It costs roughly $11-12 per hour to stay in this unit and about an hour of that is spent cleaning the unit before you leave. « This was a great place. The bedroom was comfortable and quiet, except for an occasional train whistle. Which we thought added to the ambiance. Nicely furnished. Kitchen looked well stocked with necessary cooking items. Although we only made coffee during our stay. There were good places to eat in the area. You can see the Scotsman’s workshop from the VRBO. Parking was free and adjacent to the unit. Highly recommend. »

« Good price, Cabin had plenty of space for my party of 8 people. Plenty of places to sleep when you include couches and blow up mattresses. Didn't receive any communication back outside of the initial check in. Outside of the one hiccup had a great time. Wonderful property. »
