„I was running late in my travel day. The owner called to see if I was ok and stilled planned on arriving the night of my stay. How utterly refreshing! I was two+hours. She turned on the AC and TV to welcome me “home” for the night. Such a nice touch. I was on the road for 2 weeks, primarily in motels for that amazing Americana feel. This motel was the best of the bunch! Comfortable and quiet room. Great shower, too. Thanks KJs! Well done. “

„Nice little place with modern appliances, a good shower head, Roku TV, clean, and very well stocked. I arrived on 12/23/23 to a wreath on the door and a lighted and decorated Christmas tree in the living room. We had a blizzard and got snowed in the day after Christmas. Stan, the owner, sent a guy over to shovel out the driveway. He also brought a new shovel to leave at the property which I soon put to use after the snowplows came by and blocked the driveway. „Came to Pierre from Yankton SD to celebrate my oldest son's birthday. We were able to cook and have the family together in a very nice setting. Location is great for getting whatever you need while you are there. If you are looking for perfection, it's not for you (it's not a brand new house). But it was great for us, very comfortable and enjoyable. And the host couldn't have been nicer. I suggest calling him if you reserve it, some kind of breakdown between him and the VRBO site.“

„The cabin is new, nicely decorated, and very comfortable. Also dog friendly!! The kitchen has everything you need. The bedding and mattresses were very comfortable and nobody had any complaints at all! Perfect for those in the area for outdoor adventures such as hunting and fishing. We will definitely rent again if given the opportunity. Only 15 minutes or so from Pierre and the drive is beautiful. We had a family of six, four adults and twin grandchildren (11 years old).
