« The furnishing is sparce and outdated. The dresser in one of the bedrooms top drawer is broken and can't be pulled open. The cabin as a whole is VERY basic but able to be used. The shower is very very small and difficult to use the faucet. Overall if you want comfort and just a bed to sleep in it's ok. »

« The house has a great layout, central hexagon living room/kitchen/dining, with the fireplace central and two wings of bedrooms. The patio/pool is right off the living room and there's 7 sliding glass doors out to the pool area. Really a great vibe. The house management team is fairly quickly responsive with problems. My major complaint was a bug we found, which they remedied fairly quickly and that there was zero cling wrap, tin foil or plastic bags to wrap leftovers and we had a hard time...

« The house is very clean and well stocked. Bathrooms and kitchen appear to have been recently remodeled. Linens and towels are good quality. Did not need to have any contact with the owner but given the excellent condition of the house my guess is that he/she is very attentive. Be aware that the location of the house is a little remote. If your plan is to hang around the house and enjoy the proximity of the river then the location is great. But if your plan is head out for (say) fishing...

« Talk about majestic! If you're looking for an authentic cabin and a river in your backyard, this is the spot!! I can't emphasize how beautiful it all was.
