« Owner was easy to chat with. I liked all the amenities. Great bathroom. I liked that condiments and coffee were in the fridge. And, the house is in a nice and safe location. Perfect little park across the street with a creek running through it. »

« My mom and I stayed here while we were in town for a book signing. It's an old home that has been upgraded, but still feels unique (the floors are beautiful). It's the perfect size for 2-3 people. The heat lamp in the bathroom is great. Nice quiet neighborhood and within walking distance to downtown and the library! Fair warning that the washer and dryer are not free (coin-operated), so if you had a longer stay, be prepared for that! »

« I was in town for a wedding and needed a place that allowed dogs. The owner was awesome and had multiple dog friendly items in the house. It was just 5 of us that ended up staying (and two dogs) but there was plenty of room for everyone including my 89 year old Mom who loved having her own main floor bedroom and bathroom. « Very comfortable and visually striking place with lots of nice little touches (e.g., gorgeous hand towels in the bathrooms; premium soaps / toiletries). Kitchen was pretty well stocked with cookware and tools, though I would prefer a regular coffee maker to a Keurig. It was maybe a little dusty -- my allergies flared up after a day there, but I can't say for sure that it was the house, and everyone else in my group was fine. « We really loved our stay in Mankato. The house is lovely and well appointed The bed was very comfortable and each bathroom was nice. The lock codes worked as described and the alleyway access was well explained.The only aspect of the kitchen that we used was a few dishes and the coffee maker -- but perfect for us on this trip. « We came for a couple of hockey games and loved staying at this beautiful, cozy farmhouse. The hosts were welcoming and communicative, including recommending local restaurants. The beds are so soft and Lisa’s decorating makes you feel right at home. We had gorgeous fall weather so we spent a lot of time out on the deck with our morning coffee. The kitchen had what we needed and our hosts even left some welcoming snacks and great coffee. It is peaceful and quiet, yet only 15 minutes from downtown....
