« Owner and family was super nice and friendly. Cabin backed up to a stream. So even though it rained off and on during my stay, I could open the back door and enjoy the serenity of the stream. The stream also was nice to listen to as I fell asleep each night! The price was super reasonable as well. »

« Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin with us for the weekend. We didnt catch any fish but the escape from the concrete jungle and getting into nature does the soul so good. We really enjoyed everything about this place. Even woke up to some deer and a jake out in the field. An absolutely wonderful stay we hope to do again someday. »

« My wife and I really enjoyed our stay in Cabin #1 Bella. The location was excellent for visiting family in Hacker Valley and our Daughter who was camping with her family at Holly River SP. There was plenty of room to relax in the living area, the bed was very comfortable, and the shower and bathroom were clean and accommodating. We would definitely stay again. »

« We enjoyed this cabin very much. Secluded and away from the traffic and noise of life is what we were looking for and definitely found it in this cozy, beautiful cabin. Hopefully it stays this way and we will definitely be back many times in the future. Very clean, warm, and loved the kitchen was stocked. I did forget a couple spices but found some in the cabinet. That was a nice surprise. Loved there were robes available also. Beautiful scenic views. We are already talking about reserving...

« My husband and I loved staying here for a weekend getaway just the two of us. It was exactly the relaxing country atmosphere we were looking for to reconnect without our children present. The only thing that could've made it better would've been a hot tub, but that would have just been extra decoration on an already deliciously decorated cake. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit outside, talking, and relaxing with each other. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your cozy cabin retreat! »

« The location alone is spectacular, particularly in mid-fall, though the boats are absolutely right that it's a cell phone wasteland. Fortunately the house WiFi can handle all but the most intense gaming loads (bandwidth is great but satellite-level pings) and has plenty of TVs board games, and other pastimes for those seeking a digital detox. « We had an amazing stay at this cabin in Slaty Fork! The location was perfect just a short drive to Snowshoe Mountain, making it super convenient for skiing. The cabin itself was clean, cozy, and well-stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.The fireplace and hot tub made for the perfect spot to relax after a long day on the slopes, and the scenic surroundings added to the charm. The host was great, responsive and helpful throughout our stay. »
