„This beautiful home and remote, peaceful surroundings were perfect for my friends and I to reconnect when we met for our 50th high school reunion after not seeing each other for many years. I highly recommend if you are looking for a place to unwind, relax and spend time outdoors in a serene setting.“

„Three generations of our extended family spent a wonderful Thanksgiving at this superlative property. Children loved the downstairs playroom and bunk rooms. Adults enjoyed luxurious en suite bedrooms. The cooks were pleased with the well-stocked kitchen. Thanksgiving Day featured a beautiful snowfall. Games, laughter, walks in the snow and a fourth birthday! Hosts were accessible and helpful. Would love to come back. Thanks for a memorable stay. Judith A. Nov. 27-30“

„Wonderful location and comfortable. Appliances were a bit dated, but that didn’t impact our stay. The unit was not cleaned from the previous occupants upon our check in and took a few hours to do so. This is not the fault of the owner, but did impact our initial experience. „We had a group of thirty-four people for a family vacation and had a blast. The host and the housekeeper were tremendously responsive to any small issues we had over the first few days. The kitchen was well stocked but could use more mugs for coffee/tea and additional forks for larger groups and the tea bags were past the best before date and should be replaced. „Great place to stay! Very cozy & comfortable with a creative flair to the decor. Definitely recommend for a relaxing getaway with convenient access to general store and nearby wilmington. We especially enjoyed the hot tub with lake views!! Our only recommendation would be to keep a path around the firepit down to the dock mowed/trimmed. Thank you to the owners for making the stay welcoming and enjoyable!“

„We had a great stay at this property and every year a few families get together to spend a few days skiing and other winter activities. The house was a great layout for our group with plenty of spaces for all to sleep. Kids loved the downstairs while the adults love the game house. The property was well stocked with all needs if you forgot anything to make meal times easy. Host was great and if we had any questions they were answered right away. “

„The 2 houses were able to accommodate 21 people and 2 dogs. There was plenty of room and the houses were clean. House included linens and a few towels in each bedroom. The grounds are beautiful and it was nice to walk around and take in the scenery. We came here to ski at mt snow and was about 13 minutes to the mountain. The weather was real cold in the low single digits and they got hit with a foot of snow a few days earlier. We had 5 vehicles and Parking was a little tight. This was ...

„We enjoyed our stay but the home is isolated for shopping or activities that are not ski-related. We had to drive 45 min for grocery store, and had to supply our own laundry and dishwasher supplies ( other VBROs have always supplied these basic necessities for the home) Superficially seems clean but we had to move the couch and there was trash, dirt, game pieces and food under it.. UGH! Trash can was overflowing with stinky garbage from previous guests. “

„The place was as advertised and adequate for our large group of about 18-19 people. Check in process was easy and our group enjoyed our stay. The place had a large open kitchen and a large dining area. The backyard was large for kids to play badminton and soccer. If you are looking for a quiet place for a large group in Southern Vermont, give this place a consideration.“

„The best thing about property was location. Very poorly stocked/supplied kitchen. WiFi/TV reception awful. No firewood/kindling/fire starter supplied. No attention to snow on sidewalk or stairs nor a shovel or broom to take care of it myself. “

„Had a great couple days at the "glamping cabin." The ride to get there on a dark foggy night was a bit thrilling, but could immediately relax once I got into the cabin. Place has everything needed for a semi-primitive cabin experience. Enjoyed the sauna and thencozy bed. “

"Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Gastgeber sind einfach klasse und das Frühstück war ein Genuss. Das Inn ist liebevoll ausgestattet. Es liegt zwar etwas abgeschieden, ist aber für Naturliebhaber und zum Erkunden des Südens Vermonts sehr gut geeignet. Auch Brattleboro mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants ist gut zu erreichen. "

"Eine Unterkunft in erster Linie für die Ski-Saison. Dass hier während der Saison viele Leute durchgeschleust werden und die Einrichtung darunter leidet, sieht man. Die Zimmer waren soweit sauber, aber so richtig wohlfühlen konnte man sich dort nicht. Es war alles sehr altbacken. Der Fernseher könnte man mal gegen einen Flachbildschirm austauschen. Ansonsten sehr ruhig und etwas abseites von der Straße gelegen auf einem Hügel. Zwei Minuten zu Fuß zu den Ski-Liften. Außerhalb der Saison kann man dort aber nicht wirklich was machen oder umherlaufen, außer auf der Straße. Im Hotel gab es zum Glück ein Restaurant, was bezahlbar war. Die Dame an der Bar war sehr nett. An der Bar konnte man andere Gäste treffen. Wir hatten einen schönen Abend. Der Mann an der Rezeption war auch sehr nett und sehr hilfreich."
